About Hostel

The Dean (Academics) of AIIMS Bilaspur (Himachal Pradesh) holds the position of the authority responsible for the administration and oversight of the hostels. In order to effectively manage and supervise the hostel operations, the Dean (Academics) designates members of the Faculty to assume key roles, including that of the Chief Warden and the caretakers.

The Chief Warden of Hostels bears the principal responsibility for the overall functioning and management of all hostels. The Hostel Section, under the guidance of the Chief Warden, is entrusted with the daily administration of hostel activities. To ensure effective oversight, the Chief Warden is supported by a team consisting of Senior Wardens and Junior Wardens, each of whom is accountable for the supervision and management of specific hostels. Additionally, other support staff are designated to assist in the smooth operation of the hostels.

The Hostel Advisory Committee, tasked with ensuring the efficient functioning of hostel operations, is composed not only of faculty members but also includes the Chief Warden, Senior Warden, and Junior Wardens. This committee plays a crucial role in the overall management and improvement of hostel affairs.

The various hostel offices serve specialized functions: the central Hostel Section is primarily responsible for addressing general matters affecting all hostellers, whereas the individual hostel offices focus on more specific concerns such as room allotments, vacation requests, and the resolution of immediate issues or grievances that may arise.
