Mission
- To provide comprehensive patient-centered healthcare services which are effective, efficient, accessible, acceptable, and equitable, keeping safety as a priority.
- To achieve global standards in providing education by creating need-based innovative medical and nursing education models for the all-around development of students and continuous professional development of faculty and staff.
- To develop excellence in public health by enhancing institutional impact on healthcare programs to contribute to National Health Policy.
- To achieve excellence in research by augmenting capacity, infrastructure, and systems for research in basic, translational, clinical, and public health sciences to contribute to the nation in the fight against public health diseases.
Vision
The vision of the institute is to establish a center of excellence in medical education, training, health care, and research imbued with scientific culture by adopting national/ international accreditation standards and developing a culture of excellence in professionalism, governance, leadership, and compassion for the sick and commitment to serve the underprivileged. The vision further reads as:
